Frames in original upholstery standing on fluted giltwood feet.
Originally ordered in 1938 by Romi Goldmuntz ,owner of a important diamond company in Antwerp , Belgium. This suite of furniture along with a desk and cabinet were to be used in the 1939 Diamond Trade Fair in New York City that was ultimately cancelled. The furniture stayed in the Masion Franck ateliers until it was sold to a jewelry family in Antwerp in 1948 and have remained there until recently kept in meticulous condition.
